About the Studio

Madisson Taylor Interiors is a drafting studio specializing in high-end residential remodels, interior design projects, and multifamily interiors.

I work closely with interior designers, design-build teams, and developers to translate design intent into precise, buildable drawing sets. My focus is on clarity, coordination, and execution - ensuring that every plan is structured, consistent, and ready for construction or permit submission.

My work spans the full documentation process, from existing conditions and space planning through detailed construction drawings. This includes floor plans, demolition plans, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, electrical layouts, elevations, and detailed cabinetry and millwork drawings. I also prepare complete permit sets for city approval and coordinate with structural engineers, surveyors, and Title 24 consultants as required.

In addition to project-based drafting, I support design studios with ongoing CAD production and workflow optimization. This includes template setup, drawing standardization, and helping teams maintain efficiency across multiple active projects.

My approach is detail-driven and systems-focused. I aim to support design teams by removing technical friction, improving drawing clarity, and ensuring that documentation is consistent from concept through construction.

Based in Los Angeles.

Working throughout Southern California and available for both local and remote project collaboration.

About the Founder

Hello!

My path into design wasn’t linear - but it’s exactly what makes the way I work so effective.

I began my career in accounting, earning a degree in Economics & Accounting from UCSB and spending four years as a tax accountant. That experience shaped the way I think: detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage complex information with precision. But design was always where my real passion lived.

I grew up in Palm Springs, often walking job sites with my dad, a contractor specializing in midcentury modern remodels. He has an instinct for seeing what a space could be - not just what it is - and that perspective stuck with me. Over time, I realized I had developed that same eye for transformation.

That realization led me back to school to study Interior Design at Santa Barbara City College and fully transition into the industry. Over the next 4+ years, I built my career in AutoCAD drafting, working my way into a Senior Drafter and Project Manager role before launching my freelance studio.

Today, I bring together creative problem-solving, technical precision, and a deeply process-driven approach to support thoughtful, well-executed design.
